I know it's old news, but I rarely get a chance to comment anytime or place. (1st time anything) Joey (The CANA )Votto, because Joey cana hit, Joey cana run, Joey cana score. Why? Because he is Joey The CAnadian NAtural Votto.

As I am sure you know, the Philadelphia A's had a hall of fame first baseman named Jimmie Foxx. His nickname was "the Beast." Well, everytime I see Votto, he is beasting the ball. Homeruns the other way, clutch singles and doubles. I always tell myself, Votto is a freaking Beast. About Foxx, Catcher Bill Dikey once said "If I were catching blindfolded, I'd always know when it was Foxx who connected. He hit the ball harder than anyone else." When pitcher Lefty Gomez was asked by his catcher how he wanted to pitch Foxx, Gomez responded "Well, I'd rather not throw the ball at all!" No Reds player fits that discription better today than Votto. He is a Beast. He is the Beast. He will make such a name for himself in the coming years, that when people say "Beast" others will automatically know it is Votto. Thus, that is my recommendation for Votto's nickname: Beast.
